My name is Melissa and I work in the concrete jungle of NYC as an Assistant. I have a love for funky shoes and blazers (can-not-get-enough-of-them). I love dance music (Gaga and Rihanna anyone?).. Sometimes I hear ”Only Girl in The World” in my head and I am inspired.. I have a LOVE for 90′s Rock (Vervepipe – The Freshman is a song I sing all the time).  And oddly enough I have an affinity for Law. Ugggh, not to mention my infatuation with reality TV. Too addicting.

I’ve sidetracked. OK. So, The Fashion Clones is your place to find great spots to shop at all price points. I am here to bring to you and introduce you to up and coming designers, trends and cool places to shop in the tri-state area of NYC and on the web.  ALSO, my street style!

Although what I talk about is mostly fashion, music/culture/celebrity gossip, etc is not off limits.

I am not going to bring you posts everday with the most expensive designer pieces and drool at it and never really being able to own it. But I attempt most times to bring fashion to you at all prices and also you will be able to afford it and not spend your month’s rent on it (I know some of you do!—not judging!) So yes there will be high end pieces that I go GAGA over.. but there will be down to earth pieces too..

My ultimate goal is to bring you to the shops that are opening, having sales and/or housing some fab pieces!  I want to bring you into my world. So if you are up for everything and in between … then I welcome you dolls.
