SHOES! SHOES! SHOES!

As promised, the shoes I SCORED by stumbling upon by heading to Marshalls.  I just recently went to Puerto Rico and realized that I needed some “comfy” shoes (all i own is 4 inch heels or better) while I was shopping for my son’s necessities at the Gateway Center Mall in Brooklyn, NY. And trust me, this is not the shoe mecca of the world.

As I browse through a few stores and found CRAP, my last bet was Marshalls. As you my recall in one of my last posts I hate Marshalls for a number of reasons. And as my good friend Sam said ” Ehhh.. who the hell goes there?” My sentiments exactly. It’s torture for me to go to Marshalls. But to my surprise they had some good stuff for me this go around (I have given Marshalls kudos this time) as I was ready to do the following:

  1. OMG, sift through the mess of shoe aisles! It is like the women who shop here go crazy. SHOES EVERYWHERE. It’s too much! ( I spent more than a half hour in this store);
  2. WAITING ON THOSE GODFORSAKEN LINES. Marshalls have you seen your lines? It wraps around the front half of the store ( I waited on-line for 15 minutes, I was desperate);
  3. THE POSSIBILITY OF LEAVING EMPTY HANDED. The 9′s and 10′s go oh so quickly; and
  4. SLIM PICKINGS. If you don’t know when they get their shipments then you may not get the best shoes. But i guess let the best bravonista fashionista win.

But I made my way in. YES I DID!  AND I found some shoes, and in my size to boot!

First pair i bought was these BCBGeneration wedges. They were originally $89.00 and I paid $39.99!

The other pair I bought was totally a surprise. After rummaging the racks I came across these Sam Edelman heels. It was originally $100 and I scored them for $39.99! These shoes are super comfy and I can’t wait to wear them out. I have a killer outfit in mind for these.
