There is something off about these… But I like them! These shoes will give life to any plain ole dress, tunic, shirt dress or even jeans you may have in your closet. Hmmmmm, but where would I wear these? That is TBD.

I love these shoes from Shoedazzle. Totally affordable and on trend with the floral pattern and sling back style. I paired these shoes with a neon green oversized tank, black blazer and black pants for work.

More wedged sneakers…. Yes I’m obsessed.

Giueseppe Zanotti… So loving this peep-toe bootie with the concealed platform. This perked up my Monday! I think this should be my wedding anniversary gift (hint hint) LOL. Happy Monday all!
Friday I was scheduled to head over to Loft’s new concept store at Rockefeller Center for their event. But due to projects being thrown at me out of nowhere it seems (they had to know I was going somewhere, because who would give me a project like this on a Friday), I couldn’t make it… So I just sucked it up, went to Hale and Hearty for some soup (what’s your favorite? mine is macaroni and cheese w/ beef —yummm) and snapped some pics and worked through my lunch hour.
Day to Night look.
Photo: tank: Forever 21 (they were 2 for $10); tulip skirt: Zara; heels: Steve Madden–Dynemite; necklace: Street Vendor–Union Square-NYC; earrings: Necessary Clothing, SoHo-NYC, sunglasses: Ray Ban–Aviators; accessories: bracelets by Aldo Stores & My Tee BAD.

I love this tulip skirt because it’s short enough not to feel dowdy, but long enough not to be sent home. I always find it difficult to express my style at work without teetering on the extreme side.. I know there is a time and place for everything, but I cant help but feel like I am being someone who I am not all suited up.
I paired it with the white tee because I wanted the neck piece and skirt to stand out (having a bit of deja vu as I am writing this). You could however totally color block this with bold colors like with a nice Magenta blouse..

And so I missed the event, but never the mark.

Yesterday was so nice in NYC. Finally! All this rain and humidity had me in such a funk. Been gone for a week or so focusing on getting life back on track. I’m focused man!
I saw a picture a few days ago of Zoe Deschanel in a baby doll dress. And the caption read something like would you wear a babydoll dress and 60% of people said no. What?! Why?! Welp, I decided to take mine out the closet and I love it. It’s so comfortable and cute. Not to mention perfect for Spring days.

I have become more and more mobile in these last weeks and I require cute sandals that will make it through walking long blocks and standing for long periods of time. Welp, I found a cute pair! While I ate at the greenspace in Union Square right accross from Steve Madden, I decided to pop in. They had 20-30% off what seemed like their whole stock. I fell in love with these chunky heels. Unfortunately they didn’t have the blue ones so I took the blush colored ones. Do we like?

Here are the blue ones pictured in the store.

I paid $80 for these heels. But if you wanted to pay way less, Payless has an identical pair for at least $30 cheaper.
Happy Hunting
